About the resource

This is an online resource that assists students of science and engineering to learn and correctly use technical vocabulary, in both written and spoken English. The learning materials are based on technical words that are judged to be important, and include words that are known to be difficult for students.

Students can start by taking the diagnostic quiz. This will reveal their existing knowledge of the vocabulary of their discipline, and will therefore indicate one of three levels of learning that is suitable for them.
